In this position, you’ll have the opportunity to:
- Take charge of designing, developing, and maintaining robust back-end systems that ensure seamless functionality of our platform.
- Create and optimize scalable data pipelines to effectively process and manage large datasets related to Islamic content, user interactions, and community engagement.
- Build and maintain APIs to facilitate reliable data access for both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring efficient integration with other services and applications.
- Ensure data integrity, quality, and security across our systems, adhering to best practices in data governance and performance optimization.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers and UX/UI designers, to bring new features and enhancements from concept to reality.
- Stay informed about emerging trends in software development, cloud technologies, and data engineering to continuously improve our offerings.
- Manage technical debt while driving strategic projects to enhance the platform’s capabilities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on data management and API development.
- Proficiency in programming languages, particularly Python, is essential.
- Strong experience with relational and non-relational databases, ensuring data accessibility and reliability.
- Proven track record of building scalable data pipelines and optimizing performance.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as GCP or AWS is highly desirable.
- Experience in RESTful API development and microservices architecture.
